If you want to know how to find cheap cars right now, then you need to think outside the box and look where most people don't - repossessed car auctions (also known as repo car auctions).
These auctions are not fully advertised because the auctioneers usually market to car dealerships and car enthusiasts who in turn frequent them and end up with some great car bargains! If you look in your local newspapers, check in the auction advertisements in the classifieds. There you will usually find all the details of upcoming auctions.
Private auction companies who target their auctions to a set list of regular attendees run these. You might also have some luck by doing an online search for local auction companies.
Another source of auctions are banks and credit unions since they often are the underwriters of the original car loans behind the vehicles, they can often lead you in the right direction.
